ALMATY INDIE FILM FESTIVAL
Emma
Overview
Noa needs to let go of Emma, her beloved and dying dog. With a certain level of humor, 'Emma' portrays the banality of death, and the immense emptiness the people left behind experience when facing death of their close ones.

Director Statement
I was always fascinated with death, and even though I was there with both grandmas when passing, Emma's death was the hardest as I needed to choose it for her. Although I believe it was a good thing for her, I was struck by the immense pain I was left with.
